2015 - THE IDEA IS BORN

Chef Jordan Wee had more than 10 years of experience in the hotel line before he decided to leave the hotel industry to venture into catering business. Apart from taking part in two hotels' opening team, his working experience includes 3 years of service in several high profile hotels in Singapore including the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Changi Airport and the luxurious Crockfords Tower Hotel at Resorts World Sentosa. Over the years, he then discovered his love and passion in the art of exquisite food displays buffet-style while ensuring the quality of their taste. Henceforth, with much support from his family, Chef Jordan founded his own home-based catering business with the brand name - Jordan's Signature. Joining him was long-time working partner, Chef Alvin.

2016 - HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

In the beginning, Jordan's Signature being an all-new catering brand, it had received much scepticism from the public as compared to other more well-known and long-established restaurants in the Kuching city. There then came a chance for Jordan's Signature to showcase its talents, albeit on a small scale, in catering refreshments for a corporate function from its first client introduced by a close relative. Its first catering had received positive feedbacks from both the client and guests, not only were they satisfied with the taste of the food served, but also amazed by the food display which exceeded their expectations. The Client had from then on continuously catered from Jordan's Signature for majority of its corporate functions. This first success had sparked other new clients to cater from Jordan's Signature out of curiosity and interest in the new catering idea.

2017 - PARTNERSHIP WITH HUNGRY DINO

Limited by operational capacity, Jordan's Signature knew it needed to join hands with a new partner to increase its business scale. At that time, Hungry Dino, a food truck business founded by a close friend of Chef Jordan, was operating at its peak amidst its popularity of selling their all-famous Salted-Egg Yolk Croissants, Spaghetti Aglio Olio and other savoury food items. Both businesses decided to collaborate jointly with the vision to introduce and inspire more creative and innovative food ideas, while forming a synergy to increase their business scale. 

FROM THEN TILL NOW - A CONTINUOUS SUCCESS  

By word-of-mouth and the power of sharing through Facebook, more Kuching-nites have come to know about Jordan's Signature and its wide-range catering services including live-show cooking and fascinating buffet displays for various occasions. Jordan's Signature had also successfully attained Halal certification since 2022 for both its catering business and Borneo Delight frozen-packed food products. To-date, our portfolio has included serving for several high profile events, such as the Alta Moda Fashion Show 2019 at Dewan Undangan Negeri, Rimba Art and Fashion Evening 2019 at Saradise Art Gallery, and Borneo Opera Festival 2023 at Dewan Undangan Negeri, to name a few, as well as numerous corporate openings and product launching events across the city.
